Trail Permits
All revenue from Snowmobile Trail Permit sales go to the OFSC and its clubs. Funds are invested to operate, maintain and support over 41,000 kilometres of OFSC snowmobile trails for your riding pleasure.
This annual investment includes:
- Servicing and fueling the world's largest fleet of industrial groomers
- Buying and refurbishing groomers
- Purchasing trail liability insurance to keep trails open
- Providing signage and trail marking
- Preparing and re-opening the entire trail system each season
- Effectively close trails at the end of the season/Spring.
Remember that the OFSC and its clubs are non-profit groups who are required by law to invest all revenues back into their business, which is trails.

The OFSC thanks snowmobilers for making Online Permit Sales a success in its 1st season of operation.
The site is now closed for the balance of this season, but will be opening again for 2011 permit sales next fall.
